Description:   Opened: 2004-04-17 06:07 0000
The kmyfirewall package depends on net-firewall/iptables, but this dependency
is not enforced.

Furthermore, kmyfirewall 0.9.6 has not yet been removed nor masked, though its
behaviour is known to be broken on Gentoo. 0.9.6.2 is patched specially for
this.

Patch for portage ebuild for kmyfirewall.0.9.6.2

Enforces runtime dependency on iptables.

thanks - fixed.

------- Comment #3 From Federico Zenith 2004-04-18 03:12:33 0000 -------
Thanks for being quick, but there's yet a problem - all versions of kmyfirewall
depend on iptables, while I've seen in portage that only 0.9.6.2 has the
correct dependency. It would not be a very bad thing if 0.9.6.2 were x86, but
right now the version marked stable is 0.9.5.

I suggest therefore that the dependency is added to all kmyfirewall ebuilds.

Cheers,
-Federico

Good point. 0.9.6.2 marked stable and other version include a iptables depend
too. Thanks again.
