This bug is meant to duplicate non-Gentoo bugs to.

We believe that bugs duplicated against this bug are not caused by Gentoo packages, but are the result of using outside packages, not controlled by Gentoo and therefore it is not our responsibility to fix them.

In our opinion Gentoo is such a complex & intertwined set of packages that using any outside package can destabilize the system in such a way that we cannot possibly be held to help fix any problem after that point. In short : warranty void if you use any non-Gentoo packages.

If you believe your bug is wrongly duplicated vs this bug, please take it up with the developer who duplicated it.

'packages' in this bug refers to tarballs and ebuilds likewise.
