It seems to me it'd be better if we install the documentation as:

    dodoc AUTHORS COPYING INSTALL README*
    docinto txt
    dodoc doc/README*
    docinto example
    dodoc etc/*.conf

Especially the last line is important, xsupplicant won't work without a 1x.conf!

Maybe we should add a einfo line:

To install the 1x.conf:
mkdir -p /etc/1x/
gzip -c /usr/share/doc/xsupplicant/example/1x.conf.gz > /etc/1x/1x.conf

or just force it using src_install, but in that case we need to add a gentoo file header :-/

And finally accoring to SourceForge the license is:
