yes we know about releases, we'll put ebuilds in when they're ready. gnomemeeting 1.0 needs failry recent pwlib versions that are not in portage yet.
Created attachment 26767 [details] required pwlib version.
Created attachment 26768 [details] required openh323 version
Created attachment 26769 [details] The gnomemeeting ebuild
stkn, can you take a look at the pwlib and openh323 updates? thanks
This link might be useful in explaining the situation http://www.openh323.org/pipermail/openh323/2004-February/065553.html
k, first time i've read the bug (and not only the mails..), didn't see this bug had some updated ebuilds, so i've prepared my own updated pwlib and openh323 ebuilds: 1. in the pwlib ebuild in src_compile the last two lines should be: emake opt || die "make failed" emake PWLIBDIR=${S} -C plugins opt || die "make plugins failed" this will build the plugins too 2. in the openh323 ebuild in src_compile makeopts="${makeopts} ASNPARSER=/usr/bin/asnparser NOTRACE=1 \ LDFLAGS=-L${S}/lib" without this the build process will stop at linking the simple example, (if you're updating openh323) because it's using the libs from /usr/lib michael: i'll include your econf changes, but the --with-plugins line needs a little modification (to respect the use-flags)
*** Bug 44164 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
new openh323 and pwlib versions are in portage, the good news is: gnomemeeting-1.00 builds fine. the bad news is: everything prior 1.00 won't...
ok ... why dont you add gm 1.0 in portage now ?
I'm using XFCE 4.0.4 and, to compile Gnomemeeting 1.0, I had to add "app-text/scrollkeeper" to "gnomemeeting-1.0.ebuild" as a dependence.
gnomemeeting-1.00 is in the tree now
Then, could you please change its status to CLOSED?
