Description Chad Huneycutt (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-13 15:15:09 UTC
After emerging apache (by way of php) and making small edits in
/etc/apache/conf/apache.conf, /etc/apache/conf/commonapache.com, and
Vhosts.conf, /etc/init.d/apache start balks with:

Syntax error on line 21 of /etc/apache/conf/apache.conf:
Invalid command 'LoadModule', perhaps a mis-spelled or defined by a module not
included in the server configuration.

Huh?
Comment 1 Ben Lutgens (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-15 15:01:55 UTC
a: what version of the package?
b: what does line 21 of your config file look like?

Without this stuff I can't possibly guess why it's not working for you. I just
did a fresh emerge of the package, didn't touch a thing and it works great.
Comment 2 Chad Huneycutt (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-15 15:25:51 UTC
Yeah. I must have had a typo somewhere. I blew it away and remerged and
everything is fine. Sorry.
