Can not build after updating world because latest gconf is 1.1:

gnome-vfs-1.0.5-r1.ebuild has RDEPEND
   =gnome-base/gconf-1.0.*
but should have
   =gnome-base/gconf-1.*

No, this is wrong. 
it should depend on  
( >=gnome-base/gconf-1.0
 <gnome-base/gconf-1.1 )

gconf 1.1 is unstable branch for gnome2 and not compatible with 1.1.
