emerge of media-libs/libmpeg2-0.5.1 fails:

has nothing to do with gnome...

using the still unstable media-libs/libmpeg2-0.5.1-r1 (by putting ~ppc into /etc/portage/package.keywords) is a work-around as this unstable version has an altivec patch that fixes the problem
