This is a request to update the release media to support the Playstation 3. My understanding is this should require a new PS3 supporting kernel and an entry made to the livecd's yaboot.conf. The necessary changes should be minimal. Support for PS3 hardware has been in the mainline kernel for some time. It has a default config (ps3_defconfig) already. Petitboot, the Sony's recommended bootloader for Linux, scans attached media for /etc/kboot.conf, /etc/yaboot.conf and /boot/petitboot.conf looking for boot entries. Benefits over the experimental livecd from 2007 include fixing bugs like #271367 and wireless networking support during the install. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
