Pacho is a valuable addition to the whole community. He is an architecture tester for some time now and provided excellent input when handling stabilisation issues by researching elsewhere, providing patches and testing where needed. amd64 team is cced to see his status and approve it. He will help out there and work on the tree in general. Mentoring will be primarily done by me, with Jeremy Olexa (darkside) as backup. Both quizzes have been already reviewed by me and I am satisfied, so please send them signed by your key to recruiters@gentoo.org with your two mentors in cc field. Add a comment as soon as you have done so. Pacho, what will you choose as nick name?
I have just sent quizes signed with my key Regards
(In reply to comment #1) > I have just sent quizes signed with my key > > Regards > Just to let you know that we haven't been ignoring you but we just have backlog to handle and it takes a while before we get the queue from in front of you handled.
No problem :-)
Pacho has indicated he's interested in contributing to the gnome herd[1]. We would like to track this bug :-) 1. http://blogs.gentoo.org/index.php/2009/11/13/looking-for-a-padawan?blog=86#c24281
I will be your recruiter. Please send your quizzes to recruiters@gentoo.org when approved by your mentor. Always add a comment to this bug when you send something to that address. When the quizzes are sent please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the first review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
Hello Petteri, As I commented in comment #1 I already sent the quizzes to recruiters@g.o some time ago, then, I am not sure if I would need to resend them or you already have them Thanks! :-)
(In reply to comment #6) > > As I commented in comment #1 I already sent the quizzes to recruiters@g.o some > time ago, then, I am not sure if I would need to resend them or you already > have them > As it's been a while just check that they are for the latest version of the quizzes. You don't need to resend if that's the case. I probably missed your submission comment when copy pasting our initial template comment.
I have just sent replies to the two new questions (6. and 22.) that were added since I sent quizes time ago to recruiters
(In reply to comment #8) > I have just sent replies to the two -> with the two :-S I have also pinged Pettery via mail
First review session was today and we will continue with the end quiz next Sunday (2009-12-13) 17UTC.
Reviewed ebuild-quiz just sent to recruiters
End quiz reviewed today: 19:09 <Betelgeuse> it seems bash is not your strongest point but as you will be doing arch work that's not fatal 19:10 <pacho2> yes, I agree 19:10 <Betelgeuse> I would encourage learning some bash before reviewing any ebuilds from users Next session Tuesday for looking at fixed quizzes and assignment.

(In reply to comment #14) > > - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other > > means than email > > Seems that betelgeuse already did this (or I misunderstood what gentooIM means) I did not. It's in the list of things to do exactly because we don't do this :)
