see summary. the referenced tracker should provide a basic list of packages to check. i just rebuilt ~200 of my core packages on my stable x86/amd64 system and things worked fine.
I've built all my system with glibc-2.9_p20081201-r2 since it was out. I've never had any bug in the past months since the upgrade.
all the packages listed in the regression tracker are stable, and no one has reported any problems thus far with stable, so let's get the ball rolling

Stable for HPPA.
x86 stable
Stable on alpha.
amd64 stable
I would advise archs that have not yet marked, to hold off pending #275996
