I've tried to create ebuilds for libmusicbrainz, monkey-media (CVS) and
rhythmbox (CVS)
the two first goes well, although monkey-media rather wants gstreamer 0.7 than
the 0.6 in portage.. rhythmbox fails..

Oh.. I haven't added any deps into the ebuilds...
rhythmbox needs monkey-media and monkey-media needs libmusicbrainz.. don't know if it's only rhythmbox that needs gnome2 and libid3tag.. I haven't figured those out..

just saw musicbrainz is in portage already.

We already have CVS ebuilds for rhythmbox on breakmygentoo.net - and since CVS
ebuilds are very hard to support I would be doubtful as getting these included
in portage.

yes that is correct. we're not going to be putting cvs ebuilds of rhythmbox or
monkey-media. maybe when they finally release something thats working and
maintained, then we'll consider it.
