would be helpful.

Thanks for reporting the newer release. 

In the future, you don't need to attach the tarball on your version bump
request; the maintainers will pull it directly from the upstream site. In bug
241882 there was a newer ebuild attached because there were some minor changes;
if it is sufficient to just rename an existing ebuild and everything works,
mention that fact to the ebuild maintainers and skip attaching anything.
