Does this happen if you try to merge with sun-jdk?

Yes. Have tried with "Sun JDK 1.6.0.07 [sun-jdk-1.6]" and "Blackdown JDK
1.4.2.03 [blackdown-jdk-1.4.2]" selected as system JVM.

Bug 207633 is similar and states "Builds fine with 1.5" ... I took that to mean
v 1.5 of jax-ws (which was not in portage) but I understand now it probably
means Java 1.5. Will try that.

------- Comment #4 From Alan 2008-09-11 11:59:52 0000 -------
Yes, emerges fine when using sun-jdk 1.5. Marking it as duplicate of 207633.
