Description:   Opened: 2008-09-04 11:47 0000 
the git daemon has been moved to a new location since 1.6.0 so the init script
needs an update.

Reproducible: Always

This issue applies to the xinetd script too

Ok, I am getting the same error here as well. Git-Daemon reports that it does
not want to start.

~> sudo /etc/init.d/git-daemon start
 * Starting git-daemon ...                                                     
                                         [ !! ]

But when I check with htop it seems to be running

I am running GIT  1.6.0.2

NAK.

We have patched the ebuilds to use '/usr/bin/git daemon' approach as
recommended by upstream.
