Description:   Opened: 2008-07-22 08:21 0000
while the execution of python-updater (0.5) the starting message was:
 * Starting Python Updater from 2.4 to 2.5 :
 * check "soname" enabled.
 * check "pylibdir" enabled.
 * check "eclass" disabled.
 * check "manual" enabled.

The emerge of some packages crashes because of access violation in the sandbox.
The reason was, that these packages wanted to recompile some python bytecode in
/usr/share/xml2po, and this is not allowed.
This directory belongs to app-text/gnome-doc-utils, but python-updater didn't
want to reemerge this package (I don't know, why).
If I reemerge app-text/gnome-doc-utils before, then everything works fine.

That's why I propose to include app-text/gnome-doc-utils to the manual checks
of python-updater.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. some packages, like www-client/epiphany or media-gfx/eog, should be
installed
2. update python from 2.4 to 2.5
3. don't reemerge app-text/gnome-doc-utils
4. run python-updater

Actual Results:
the emerge of www-client/epiphany or media-gfx/eog crashes because of access
violation in the sandbox

Expected Results:
of course, all packages should be reemerged

A newer gnome-doc-utils will be stabilized soon (when gnome-2.22 stabilization)
and will fix this
