(I'm not allowed to reopen bug 219387, so I'm entering a new one.)

Trying to install x11-misc/googleearth fails with the following messages:

The basic problem is Google not including a version number in the file name and
not allowing distribution. That the maintainer seems to be MIA doesn't help
either.

Please don't go wild using the severity field. There's even a description of
the meaning, when you follow the link. Google Earth not being fetchable is not
blocking _development_.
