Hello

Please find attached xpvm.tar.gz containing xpvm-1.2.5.ebuild and a patch so that
ist will compile with the recent versions of TCL and TK.

Dependecies are:
>=sys-cluster/pvm-3.4.1
=dev-lang/tcl-8.3.4
=dev-lang/tk-8.3.4

XPVM is a graphical console and monitor for PVM. It provides a
graphical interface to the PVM console commands and information,
along with several animated views to monitor the execution of PVM
programs.
It is quite old but still usefull and more info can be found at
http://www.netlib.org/pvm3/xpvm/index.html

I suggest putting it into sys-cluster/xpvm

Hi!

I checked in the ebuild as you suggested.
But i had to mask it, as pvm is masked, too.

Can you submit an updated ebuild for pvm, too? As the one in portage looks not very good at the moment.

I am sorry I just realized, that I sent you the wrong patch and, that there
was a little bug in the ebuild too.
I fixed that

the bug free ebuild and the right patch is contained in xpvm-1.2.5.tar.gz

sorry for my mistake

I think this bug can be closed, because for now I can't see any other flaws
in the ebuild so if anyone finds one it can go through the normal procedure

concerning the rewrite of the pvm ebuild: I currently have another ebuild
basing on pvm in the contribution process (cppvm bug 21828). I will try to
update all 3 ebuilds as soon as cppvm is checked in.
