I've emerged kde-misc/krecipes with USE="sqlite" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium-m -pipe -ggdb -falign-functions=64" emerge kde-misc/krecipes On startup both versions crash with signal 6. I suggest to remove at least the sqlite flag from the ebuild as the corresponding functionality obviously doesn't work. "Fun" - last release end of 2006... The KDE 3 svn branch is not inactive and there's even some porting to KDE 4 underway as it seems. On the other hand, with upstream violating the release early, release often mantra, having in mind that this isn't a central KDE application, featuring a quite ugly interface and our scarce human ressources, I'd rather like to see this package masked and removed from the Gentoo repository, instead making my fingers dirty. Anyone else?
There don't seem to be any good alternatives to this, though. It's just about the only Linux recipe program out there. (Well, there's "AnyMeal", but it's not in portage).

I'm having similar problems. I opened #253749 and it was marked a duplicate of this one. I'm getting intermittent crashes on searches and when editing recipes. I'll post a kde crash report
