Hi All, Mrxvt is terminal emulator for X. The ebuilds for mrxvt have been in portage for quite some time now. I'm attaching a "live" ebuild (i.e. to build mrxvt directly from subversion sources). I submit the live ebuild because in mrxvt, we are usually slow to release new versions (once a year or so), but we do fix bugs (especially critical bugs) quickly in the Subversion repository. Our commit policy is that code should not be committed unless it complies cleanly and is tested. Perhaps it would be good to put this in the portage tree. (I've been using this ebuild myself for a year or so now, and it was in the live-ebuilds overlay last year. But when they migrated to devnull, mrxvt's live ebuild didn't migrate with it). Thanks, GI PS: If it's against your policy to put live ebuilds in portage, I submit it here anyway because a user searching for "mrxvt live" should easily come across this bug.

It is indeed against our policy needlessly to add live ebuilds. As you're developing upstrem: Please do (bugfix-)releases more regulary than once a year. Maintainer's choice how to deal with this request..
Gautam: for now I'd like not to have live ebuilds in the tree.
