Please add amd64 to supported archs. I will provide a working ebuild for
paml-4b as well.

Thanks much for the note and I just added paml-4b to
portage cvs (with ~amd64).

best,
Markus

Markus, are you sure?

# emerge -uN paml
Calculating dependencies /
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "sci-biology/paml" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- sci-biology/paml-4.1 (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)
- sci-biology/paml-4b (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

Yes, paml is ~amd64 which is what portage is telling you. However,
since you apparently have ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" you will need
to add it to package.keywords to be able to emerge it (there is no
stable version for paml at this point).

Best,
Markus
