Can be replicated on my box.

Seems the intltool version doesn't match.

------- Comment #2 From Denis Dupeyron 2008-02-22 07:25:32 0000 -------
OK, I'll try and check that today. If not it'll have to wait for me coming back
from FOSDEM.

> Seems the intltool version doesn't match.

I have a hard time believing this. There is only one version of intltool in
Portage right now and it works with f-spot on a few machines here.

uzytkownik,

I really can't reproduce this. I was worried about this bug for some time until
I had a closer look at your emerge info. Please clean your CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS,
LDFLAGS and FEATURES, and rebuild your whole system with something sane. Do not
ever file bugs with a such a ridiculous combination of those. I'm suspecting
ccache could be the issue here, but your system probably has a bazillion
reasons to break any single package in the tree without you even knowing it.

Denis.

------- Comment #4 From Jose daLuz 2008-02-24 16:10:39 0000 -------
I have the same bug, but I am running intltool 0.37.0 from the gnome overlay
(which is why I didn't report it in the first place). Since the reporter also
has the gnome overlay listed, that's more likely the issue rather than build
settings.

I understand you can't do anything with a package from an overlay, but you
might want to keep an eye on this as it will likely be turning up again when
Gnome 2.22 hits the tree.

------- Comment #5 From Mart Raudsepp 2008-02-24 16:25:15 0000 -------
I am working on introducing intltool-0.37.0 to the tree, and bugs exactly like
this have been delaying this for so so long. Please fix this - if a package is
using intltool, then you HAVE to call intltoolize --force || die right after
eautoreconf, or the Makefile.in @...@ macros might not match up. That it works
for you is pure luck that the set of defined autotools variables has not
changed between system intltool and intltool used by upstream tarball creator

------- Comment #6 From Denis Dupeyron 2008-02-24 17:01:55 0000 -------
I honestly stopped reading the emerge info at FEATURES and never reached
overlays. Had I known it was due to an overlay, I would have closed the bug
even faster. There is absolutely no chance I'm going to spend any time hunting
for a bug coming from such a ridiculous and sub-optimal setup. Be it a valid
bug or not.

It's now fixed in CVS.

Denis.
