Bugzilla Bug 208950

After upgrade to genkernel 3.4.9 I noticed that I get the following message
during boot.
Activating mdev
ls: : No such file or directory

Apparently someone on the Russian Gentoo forum seems to believe that this is a
genkernel problem because when they recompile manually, the kernel doesn't give
the same message.
