Cannot import Tkinter from python.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
$ python
Python 2.4.4 (#1, Dec 19 2007, 00:17:15)
[GCC 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import Tkinter
Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/lib-tk/Tkinter.py", line 38, in ?
    import _tkinter # If this fails your Python may not be configured for Tk
ImportError: No module named _tkinter
>>>

# emerge -pv python

readline ssl tk -bootstrap -build -examples -nocxx -nothreads -ucs2" 0 kB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB

As a side consequence, I cannot install (upgrade) applications that use Tkinter
as matplotlib, for example.

emerge --info please.

------- Comment #2 From Paulo da Silva 2007-12-19 17:07:17 0000 -------
Here is emerge --info.
BTW, this only occurs with amd64. x86 works as expected.

------- Comment #3 From Jakub Moc (RETIRED) 2007-12-27 22:54:45 0000 -------
Do you have dev-tcltk/blt installed?

------- Comment #4 From Paulo da Silva 2007-12-28 03:08:06 0000 -------
Yes, both on my x86 and amd64.

# notrash emerge -p blt

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R   ] dev-tcltk/blt-2.4z-r1

------- Comment #5 From Paulo da Silva 2007-12-28 15:53:41 0000 -------
I had (re)emerged tcl, tk and python without any success.

Now I (re)emerged tcl, tk, blt and python and the problem went away!
So it's working now.
