Description:   Opened: 2007-12-05 20:42 0000
At the URL above, you will see that version 1.2.1 fixed a kernel oops in 1.2.0,
yet 1.2.0 is still the stable version in portage (though you can install 1.2.1
or 1.2.2 by adding net-wireless/ipw3945 to /etc/portage/package.keywords. At
least 1.2.1 should be made stable to prevent people from dealing with the
kernel oops.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install version 1.2.0
2. make use of networking long enough to see the kernel oops (network will stop
functioning at that point, but the OS doesn't hang)

Actual Results:
kernel oops

Expected Results:
Not had a kernel oops ;)

This is a known issue, and is documented at the URL above.
