Description:   Opened: 2007-12-01 21:25 0000
After recent upgrade firefox failed to load not findind libstdc++.so.5.

The workaround I found was to add following entry to /etc/env.d/99local:

LDPATH="/usr/lib32/libstdc++-v3/"

After it Fx worked fine again. Therefore I think it's not a duplicate of bug
200213, because the solution is different (here this file is provided, just
nothing in the environment points to it). I also have proper symlinks etc. on
the *first* merge.

You see, I wrote I think it's not a dupe. The resolution and cause is different
in each case. In my bug adding an entry to LDPATH fixes it. In bug 200213
something doesn't get installed or a bad symlink is made.

Maybe I don't see what these bugs have in common to be duplicate, but then some
more elaborate explanation would be nice.

No, it's the exact same issue w/ missing symlink. You do NOT need any special
LDPATH to /usr/lib32.
