Description:   Opened: 2007-11-22 14:33 0000
After upgrade of gnome to 2.20, if you run kde, you cant reboot or
shutdown directly from your kde session. With 2.18 it worked
perfectly. I use kde but prefer gdm as its a better dm than kdm,
better artwork more options.

Reproducible: Always

Proposed patch is for kde 3.5.8, most users are using stable.
Problem still exists with both x86 and amd64 arches using stable
versions of kde and gnome.

Bugs resolution generally reflects latest version in the tree, not stable.

If I upgrade to kde 3.5.8 will I have logout buttons?

Upgrading solves the Problem, If anyone want package mask and unmask
files for easy upgrading if you are running a stable system you can
 find them at
