in the kdmtheme 1.2.1 version on the ~amd64, once installed, it 's not possible
anymore to configure, or change the theme, when i use back the 1.1.3 version,
it works perfectly

I can confirm the bug on ~x86.

Bug is fixed in 1.2.2, quite embarrassed about this.. during the backporting it
would appear that I completely forgot to re-add the enable/disable option to
the save code and being that saving isn't handled by my code anymore in kde4 I
never told it to commit the change. both issues have been fixed, I apologize
for the inconvenience.
Please update the ebuild for 1.2.2
