Dear All,

Could we please mark sci-mathematics/pari-2.3.2 stable
on your respective arches? pari-2.3.2 comes with a test routine 
that should allow you to test its math kernel.

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for your note. Could your please check what directory
pari uses to compile its sources (is it Olinux-ppc?). From the
makefile it isn't quite clear to me what is going on there.

amd64 stable

It creates a Olinux-powerpc directory, but then later looks for a Olinux-ppc
directory. If I manually create a link Olinux-ppc to Olinux-powerpc then pari
builds successfully. It's probably an easy fix in config file somewhere for
someone that knows the package, but beyond my capabilities at the moment.

ppc fix for pari-2.3.2 

This patch fixes the config/arch-osname helper script so pari looks at the
right directory for test and install phases.

What is the decision here on powerpc?  Accept nixnut's input or remove stable
request?

I apologize for the delay in responding and thanks much for the patch.
I've just applied it to pari-2.3.2-r1; hence, could we please try to stable
this version on ppc.
