------- Comment #1 From Juergen Rose 2007-09-01 09:23:00 0000 -------
The same problem here.

------- Comment #2 From Juergen Rose 2007-09-02 07:08:58 0000 -------
I found that as a workaround it is possible to compile ntop if the snmp USE
flag is removed.

------- Comment #3 From David Earp 2007-09-03 00:24:26 0000 -------
I had the same issue, but I noticed at the start of the emerge that there is a
note about the snmp plugin being under development. As I was not using the
snmp plugin with ntop, I removed the USE string from the build and it worked
fine.

------- Comment #4 From Markus Ullmann 2007-09-06 09:18:35 0000 -------
Disabled snmp support in ebuild now, this really should be fixed upstream

------- Comment #5 From SpanKY 2007-09-06 22:47:00 0000 -------
unfortunately, simply removing the use line isnt enough ... the configure
script with automagically detect support, so an explicit disable is needed
(which ive added)

------- Comment #6 From Jakub Moc (RETIRED) 2007-10-19 22:08:53 0000 -------
Also please remove/comment out this from DEPEND: snmp? ( net-analyzer/net-snmp
)
