The doc checks out as far as code goes, and we've no Russian translators around these days...and the old version is from 2004...may as well update it to 2007.
Fixed in CVS.

That's not exactly true. ;) JFI: Translator team became inactive because we had to move to new home (it was rugentoo.org and now we are on gentoo.ru). We are going to do all the work at projects.gentoo.ru as it was found that most translations which were done and commited are not ready even to be edited (yea, translation into Russian language is not an easy task) and even if they were ready to be edited there was only one editor - me. When I understood that it's impossible to do all this work alone I've started to look at how to organize work to make other people edit others work. There were long discussions what to do... Josh, I have not looked at this translations, but e.g. the handbook - it has not just typos. There are sentences which has completely *reverse* sense to original. So it's better not to commit Russian translation without at least reviewing. To fix this problem it was decided that we'll have two rounds of editors and to organize this different infrastructure was required and now we practically have it. The only thing that left to do is to move documentation from rugentoo.org to projects.gentoo.ru after that Russian translators will continue their work.
