Description Roger Luethi 2003-04-06 13:54:24 UTC
I have only seen this on dual-head setups. If a (terminal, browser,...)
window is on the right-hand screen _and_ touches (with its left-hand border)
the (left-hand) border of said right-hand screen, _then_ trying to maximize
the window results in minimizing the window horizontally. It will try to look
like a spaghetti.

Reproducible: Always

does this happen only with certain skins ?
Comment 2 Roger Luethi 2003-04-13 12:39:05 UTC
It happens with the plain vanilla settings, but also with all the
themes provided with the standard package (BlueSteel, Ganymede,
etc.).

FWIW, I have also seen this on another distro. It's an e16 bug.

when i add 0.16.6-preX it should hopefully fix this
Comment 5 Roger Luethi 2003-06-23 22:29:32 UTC
0.16.6_pre4 doesn't solve the problem, I'm afraid. I has not changed.

right. there's an off by 1 error somewhere in one piece of my math. I
know about this problem but I never fixed it.

this has to happen upstream ... they'll do it eventually ;)
Comment 8 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2003-08-03 14:33:34 UTC
0.16.6_pre5 is supposed to have a fix for this, please try it out ?
Comment 9 Roger Luethi 2003-08-04 07:07:05 UTC
Confirmed solved with e 0.16.6_pre5. Thanks.
