Description:   Opened: 2007-06-26 22:14 0000
If you install quake 4 with the ebuilds (as of today), it claims to succeed.
However, with version 1.3.2 quake4 crashes on startup, with no real
explanation. Seeing that the executable was 32-bit, I checked what emul-x86
libs I had installed. Turns out that emul-linux-x86-compat is required for
proper operation. Once it is installed quake4 starts up just fine.

Incidentally, this bug is more severe with version 1.4.2. If you use 1.3.2,
the application just crashes. With 1.4.2, your whole X server crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install quake4
2.run quake4

Actual Results:
Crash.

Expected Results:
Game should start up.

Install emul-linux-x86-compat to resolve the bug.
