This fixes http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17050 but I haven't tested
all
gs-related software yet.

The ebuild should be reviewed to make sure the commented out patches necessary
for 7.x are unneeded here.

as we use esp ghostscript and not afpl, this is bug report is invalid.
