Description Jiří Vyskočil 2007-05-07 12:21:51 UTC
When x11-misc/glipper is running, OpenOffice.org objects like charts and images cannot be copied/pasted. Instead of the desired objet, last text which was in clipboard is inserted (or nothing happens, if the clipboard was empty).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start glipper
2. start openoffice calc
3. create a chart
4. ctrl+c the chart
5. ctrl+v somewhere in the sheet

Actual Results:
Depending on previous clipboard contents, either nothing happens, or last text item is inserted

Expected Results:
A copy of the chart is inserted

There is a bug in upstream bugzilla since December together with a patch http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1588753&group_id=167085&atid=841538 a workaround and a technical description of the problem, but no response from the authors so far.

Please give x11-misc/glipper-1.0-r1 a shot, it contains a fix from upstream for this issue.
