When having GeForce 256DDR (GeForce1), then installing of the above package
(x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv-2.0.0) halts or blacks the screen of your X-server.
Downgrading back to x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv-1.2.2.1 helped.
I do not know what other nvidia-cards are being affected. Maybe all
'legacy-cards'?

Should there be a warning or a checkup in the ebuild to only install when a
graphic-card is in the system who runs with this driver? Is this possible?

Also, should further cards being tested, beside GeForce-DDR?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. runs fine on ver 1.2.2.1
2. run "emerge -uDavn world installs new version automatically on ~x86
3. startx or start xdm

Actual Results:  
X-server produced black screen. ctrl-alt-backspace did not work, ctrl-alt-F1-8
did not work too. Working on ssh-shell did, however, work, only was slower then
when no X-server was running.
ctrl-alt-entf did reboot after long shutdown-time
