Description:   Opened: 2007-02-25 20:42 0000
Please add ~amd64 to the zoneminder ebuild, it builds correctly and I'm testing
it (the web interface works, I still need to figure out the whole setup
though).

Reproducible: Always

Zoneminder works fine for me compiled 64bit on amd64, not surprisingly because
a big chunk of it is written in an interpreted language. I'm firing up alarms
with a max deadline of 1 sec (too bad this api is irq driven but I've to poll,
but 1 schedule per sec isn't measurable) with this script that I've written
(this is a pain to write if you never used zoneminder or you don't know the
zoneminder IPC SHM perl API, which I didn't know until the day after I emerged
it).

#!/usr/bin/env perl

use strict;

use ZoneMinder;

my $monitor = { Id=>2 };

while (!zmShmVerify( $monitor )) { sleep(1); };

while (1) {
        my $last_event = zmGetLastEvent($monitor);
        while (!zmHasAlarmed($monitor, $last_event)) { sleep (1); };
        system("/etc/zoneminder-alarm.sh");
        while (zmGetLastEvent($monitor) == $last_event) { sleep (1); };
}

------- Comment #3 From Mike Doty 2007-04-19 18:08:35 0000 -------
I use zoneminder on amd64, asking opfer to commit the change.

------- Comment #4 From Christian Faulhammer 2007-04-19 18:10:10 0000 -------
I am sure this is a trick to later say "he keyworded without testing. Break
his legs!". ~amd64 added and closing
