Description:   Opened: 2007-02-06 20:32 0000
After the update of nspr nspr-4.6.4-r1 evolution fails to start with:

rose@thinkpad:/home_thinkpad/rose(6)$ evolution
evolution: error while loading shared libraries: libplc4.so.6: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

A new emerge of evolution does not solve the problem.

libplc4.so.6 is in the /usr/lib/nspr/ directory.

/usr/lib/nspr is present in /etc/ld.so.conf, so 'ldconfig -v' finds
libplc4.so.6 , but not evolution.

Reproducible: Always

------- Comment #1 From Raúl Porcel 2007-02-06 20:34:23 0000 -------
We know, that's why nspr-4.6.4-r1 has been re-masked.

You can fix your problem downgrading to nspr-4.6.4.
