I have no idea how this should be used, as there is no --help and no manpage,
but:

ticho@thelair ~ $ mcs-getconfval a b c
b/c => (null)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
ticho@thelair ~ $ mcs-setconfval a b c d
b/c => d
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
ticho@thelair ~ $ 

This is on a ~x86 box.
