Description:   Opened: 2007-01-30 23:15 0000
acx-0.3.35_p20060521 fails to associate with the access point using
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.19-r5.

Switching back to sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.18-r6 and everything is well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot into kernel 2.6.19-r5
2. eselect rc start net.wlan0

I have the same problem. With sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.18-r6 everything is
ok, but with kernel-2.6.19-r5 last essid char missing.

Adding one char to essid eg. MY_AP -> MY_APX helps. But I think this is not a
solution. But it works for me.

Can you try this with version 0.3.35_p20070101?

Network works with acx-0.3.35_p20070101 and gentoo-sources-2.6.19-r5 without
adding any char to essid.

Eh, there's already Bug 178730 sitting there for almost two months.
