Description:   Opened: 2007-01-08 06:32 0000
the summary pretty much says it -- pciutils will often fail to compile on my
dual core machine (athlon 64 x2) when I have a non-1 -j specified.

while this is an amd64 machine, I do not run 64 bit linux.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a multiproc or multicore machine
2. Set MAKEOPTS to greater than 1 -j value
3. Emerge pciutils a couple of times until it breaks

Actual Results:
i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc: lib/libpci.a: No such file or directory
make: *** [setpci] Error 1

Expected Results:
successful merge
