Description:   Opened: 2007-01-07 16:11 0000
I've tried hwsetup-1.2 from and it does not work in one of my machines with
pciutils-2.2.3-r2. Whenever I run it, it produces a segmentation fault. It runs
perfectly on all other i686 machines but not on the one that is i586.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge pcituils-2.2.3-r2
2. emerge hwsetup-1.2
3. hwsetup -n -v

Actual Results:
(kernel 2.6.9)
#hwsetup -n -v
Trying method 1......cannot open /sys/bus/pci...No.
Trying method 2......using /proc/bus/pci...OK
Decided to use Linux-proc
Segmentation fault

(kernel 2.6.18)
#hwsetup -n -v
Trying method 1......cannot open /sys/bus/pci...OK
Decided to use Linux-sysfs
Segmentation fault

hwsetup-1.2 with pciutils-2.2.0-r1 works just fine.
I have also tried it on newer kernels as well. It always segfaults.
I have even tried pciutils-2.2.4 but hwsetup-1.2 does not compile with it.
