Is there an error/bug in the unstable version of portage? Or does it work
different in the new versions so that the ebuild needs corrected ?

This bug is not invalid. It is a parallel build problem with wesnoth.

No, so far I've just seen it failing with unstable portage. Unless someone can
point to a real bug in makefiles, it's invalid.

Yes, and there's nothing portage can do about broken build systems...

------- Comment #18 From Nils Kneuper 2007-01-15 22:37:15 0000 -------
Wesnoth builds nicely over here with these details to follow. I am running
unstable. The only package that I did force to change was freetype. I updated
it to 2.2.1 since Wesnoth is affected by the gentoo bug #150935. The rest is
from normal unstable, running 5 threads parallel.

It works with the following versions:

[ebuild   R   ] sys-apps/portage-2.1.2.2  USE="doc -build -epydoc (-selinux)"
LINGUAS="-pl" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] games-strategy/wesnoth-1.2.3  USE="editor gnome kde nls tools
-dedicated -lite -server" 0 kB

Thanks,
Erik
