Description:   Opened: 2006-12-04 14:55 0000 
I've got an image which causes giftext from giflib 4.1.4 to segfault along with
a patch which fixes the issue. The patch comes from the FuzzyOCR guys and is
one of the things which is holding up bug  154392, although I'll probably add
the FuzzyOCR ebuild with a warning that some images may cause a segfault until
this bug is fixed.

I'll do that but in the meantime we could add the patch in the ebuild.

Here is an updated patch to go with my ebuild. The directories were off for use
with epatch
