kde-i18n fails to emerge with:

!!! ERROR: kde-base/kde-i18n-3.5.5 failed.

KDE was emerged with "kde-meta", recent esync and "emerge avuDN" is trying to
pull in kde-i18n and re-compile kde-meta.

No LANG or LINGUA statements in make.conf.

System upgraded to 3.5.5 about a week ago without this problem, i18n seems to
be new ?
