The latest stable of net-print/foomatic-filters needs autoconf-2.13 to install. Thus, it should depend on it. Please add "WANT_AUTOCONF=2.1" to the ebuild. I've also tried the other versions of foomatic-filters. Version 3.0.20060720 installs fine without autoconf-2.13. All others don't. Here is the error message: ac-wrapper: /usr/bin/autoconf-2.13 is missing or not executable. Please try emerging the correct version of autoconf. !!! ERROR: net-print/foomatic-filters-3.0.2-r1 failed. You are just using an outdated ebuild. Calling for the arches to stabilize a current one. Also needs stabilization of: net-print/foomatic-filters-3.0.20060720 net-print/foomatic-db-engine-3.0.20060720 net-print/foomatic-db-20060720 net-print/foomatic-db-ppds-20060720 net-print/foomatic-filters-ppds-20060720 Have fun :)

sparc stable - we don't have hplip even ~sparc keyworded so it wouldn't bother us.
Why can there be collisions on directories? No idea how to fix it.
(In reply to comment #6) > Why can there be collisions on directories? No idea how to fix it. It isn't trying to install a directory: $ equery -q belongs /usr/share/cups/model/foomatic-ppds net-print/foomatic-filters-ppds-20060720 (/usr/share/cups/model/foomatic-ppds -> /usr/share/ppd) (I don't have net-print/hplip installed)
You can stabilize the new version. The collision is not critical and needs to be fixed in hplip. Probably I will just harddep on foomatic.
x86 got the foo.
