Hello. It would be nice if someone could add more info about Maxima on Gentoo to the Maxima ports page (http://maxima.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Maxima%20ports). There is a mention of Maxima + Clisp + Gentoo but I am guessing there are additional Lisp + Gentoo versions which work. Also if you can give a 1-line instruction for how to get Maxima for Gentoo (a link or a command line, not sure how Gentoo works, sorry) that would be very helpful. Thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks a lot for your help. emerge sci-mathematics/maxima - that's all :) can use clisp, cmucl, gcl or sbcl (see the ebuild)
