Description:   Opened: 2006-10-13 02:08 0000 
because popt-1.10.4-r1 does an eautoreconf, gettext is necessary for this not
to fail regardless whether the user wants nls support or not.  (AM_GNU_GETTEXT
is otherwise undefined)  I suggest to change the nls? ( sys-devel/gettext )
DEPEND into just sys-devel/gettext for this reason.
