      Highly modular

      Does dependency calculations.

      Parallel processing of modules

      "Modes": no cheap runlevels (see "Concepts")

      A module to start daemoni and make sure they keep running by restarting
them in case they get killed
    *

      No init-scripts required: no need to parse scripts on startup (comes in
handy on embedded devices)
    *

      BSD-License: Probably handy for corporate users that wish to modify eINIT
without providing sources. (the module-interface would also allow for
precompiled binary-only modules)

the above are the features that it currently has. And the author plans on
adding more.
