Description:   Opened: 2006-08-28 16:01 0000
I'm afraid that this is a very bare-bones bugreport as I'm not able to test
anything, but looking at nvidia's summaries of their latest drivers here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-8774.html
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-7184.html
(in Portage as nvidia-drivers-1.0.8774 and nvidia-legacy-drivers-1.0.7184 )

...they now seem to support the latest Xorg. I don't know how any other binary
graphics venbdors are doing with their offerings.

Also, I'm guessing that xorg-x11-7.1 is only ~x86 (as opposed to + on most
other archs) because we've still been waiting for the blobbers to catch up.

Shall we stabilise the new technology fairly soon?
