Description:   Opened: 2006-08-01 16:59 0000
When jasper is emerged while opengl is set to nvidia I get the following error
messages.
/usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGLcore.so.1: undefined reference to `_nv000016gl'
followed by several just like it with just what nv value is an undefined
reference changing. followed by.
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status.
After searching the forums I found the following.
eselect opengl set xorg-x11
env-update
emerge jasper
eselect opengl set nvidia
env-update

I was able to emerge jasper when I followed said instructions. So it is
something with jasper and the nvidia opengl that is stopping the compile. Until
this is fixed I suggest that some sort of message on failure of the compile
referencing this problem be put in the ebuild.
